Latest Product Improvements
Design Update
BP Zones continues to refine and improve our training products based on feedback from coaches, players, and organizations. As part of our latest design update, the 1x1" lower crossbar has been eliminated from all frames.
Originally introduced as an improvement to the Command Freak frame, this update has now been applied across all BP Zones frames to improve performance and durability.
Advantages & Rationale
- Reduce ball deflections during training.
- Prevent softballs from becoming trapped in the lower opening, reducing damage and scuffing.
- Maintain the same structural integrity and durability of the frame design.
Example: Softball Damage From Lower Crossbar
Softball becoming trapped against the lower frame opening, causing scuffing and damage.
Removing the lower crossbar helps reduce contact points that can damage training balls.
Angle Steel Improvement
We’re replacing the 1x2” square tube steel directly above the springs with angle steel. This updated design improves performance while making assembly easier for customers.
- The angled piece acts as a shield, helping prevent balls from becoming stuck in the spring area.
- Angle steel makes installation easier by allowing customers to align and bolt the springs more efficiently.
- The improvement is especially beneficial for larger products, including XL models and dummy batter/camera protectors with four springs.
- The softer radius of the angle bend provides a smoother edge compared to traditional square tube steel.
